The winners of the WIFA charter fishing trip were out tonight celebrating a birthday with a 24lb king salmon on the 24th. The west winds are doing their thing, now the fish have to find their way in.
Had to loose the bananas on day 2. Stayed with the salmon today, because the waves were not calm enough for bouncing for lake trout. Still need more fish to migrate in, the fish alarm on the sonar is not beeping enough.
Had the Rocky Mountain Elk club charter fishing trip winners out today. The fishing has been slow, but one big king and a run up for lake trout made for a good catch today.
The farthest out planner boards were catching fish.
The weather has not been our friend so far. Cold water is now hot water and rain and wind is always in the forecast.
A fun night out with some fish.
