Melanie caught this 33 lb lake trout on the Willie Bee this week. After 25 years of fishing on the Willie Bee our 29 lb lake trout record was shattered with this big monster. A hub cap and twinky rig lured the fish in and we turned and chased the fish two get it up...

The water is starting to seperate and the winds have limited the patterns we can run, but we did find some fish this week. Have to get the ones that bite in the boat.

The Willie Bee has been getting a work out out on the lake. The winds have not been in our favor, but we have been out every day fishing the 120 to 280 foot depths and covering the top down to 120 feet. Some midweek dates are still available, but going fast.
